On 12 September 2014, ZOAK Solutions was appointed by the Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) to a seven year contract as the new national numbering provider. Consequently the ZOAK Solutions team has designed, built and delivered the new technology for Australia’s registry of telephone numbers. The system went live across Australia on 3 August 2015, managed by ZOAK Solutions on behalf of the ACMA.
This new numbering system delivers a significantly more streamlined service to numbering clients, introduce more automated transactions and it provides greater interoperability. ZOAK Solutions is also providing continuous development processes to take account of future regulatory or legislative changes.
